Young Artists from Moradokmai Theatre Community and Homeschool paid courtesy call on the Director-General of the Department of Information on the occasion of the cultural exchanges tour to Europe.

On 11 August 2022, Mrs. Kanchana Patarachoke, Director-General of the Department of Information and MFA Spokesperson, along with Mr. Thanawat Sirikul, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Information welcomed Mr. Janaprakal Chandruang (Kru Chang), a dramatist and Thai National Artist, and young artists from Moradokmai Theatre Community and Homeschool on the occasion of their cultural exchanges tour to Europe from August to November 2023.

Both sides had a fruitful discussion on the ongoing work of Moradokmai Theatre and Homeschool, talent development for the youth, the promotion of cultural diplomacy and deepening mutual understanding of people-to-people interactions. Moradokmai also gave details of the preparation for the cultural exchanges in 12 European countries, namely, Austria, Czech, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Germany, Lithuania, Norway, Slovenia, Sweden and Switzerland by which the Department of Information had coordinated with concerning Thai Embassies to provide advices regarding on the venues of activities while also creating networks with local artists.

On this occasion, Mr. Chandruang and the young artists gave interviews on Moradokmai Theatre and Homeschool and the preparation for their trip to Europe which will be broadcasted via “Rak Mueang Thai” programme on Saranrom radio, the Ministry’s Facebook and Tiktok in mid-August 2023.
