On 31 March 2023, Mr. Natapanu Nopakun, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Information, had a discussion with delegations from the the National Press Council of Thailand and Cambodian Media at Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with officials from the Department of Information and the Department of East Asian Affairs in attendance.

DDG Natapanu provided an overview of the the Department of Information’s mission and its recent works, including APEC, BIMSTEC and Phuket EXPO 2028 campaign. They also exchanged opinions on issues pertaining to the distribution of information from public agencies to various audiences as well as the promotion of cooperation between public agencies and the media.

This briefing session is part of the activities under the Cambodian Media’s Visit Programme to Thailand. The Cambodian media delegation is visiting Thailand during 31 March - 4 April 2023 and will also be visiting their Thai counterpart to exchange views and insights on their professional experiences.
