On 24 October 2023, Mr. Pakpong Pattanamas, Chief Operating Officer, together with Mr. Wutichai Namjaiprasert, Chief Marketing Officer, and representatives of GDH 559 Co., Ltd, had a meeting with Mr. Thanawat Sirikul, Deputy Director General of the Department of Information to discuss ways to elevate Thai films on the global stage at the Department of Information’s meeting room.

On this occasion, both sides exchanged views on strategies and plans to further promote Thai films overseas in 2024-2025, along with ways to strengthen the Thai films industry and Thai entertainment industry, which are considered as one of eleven “Soft Power Industries” that the government has promoted. Notably, the film and content industry will serve as a driving force to improve the country’s global standing and competitiveness, and generate revenue for the Thai economy.
