On 1 June 2022, Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Director-General of the Department of Information and MFA Spokesperson, welcomed Mr. Kobsak Duangdee, Secretary-General of the Thai Bankers' Association; Mr. Thaweelap Rittapirom, Director and Executive Vice President of Bangkok Bank; and Mr. Lesan Martsadhit, First Vice President, Marketing of Krung Thai Bank; along with the team, and discussed ways to enhance cooperation on APEC 2022 communication with the Thai Bankers' Association and its members. The two sides agreed to strengthen the roles of the financial sector in supporting communication and public engagement, increasing awareness among young entrepreneurs and promoting sustainable finance. Closer partnership between the Ministry and the Association will increase active participation from the financial and banking sectors to broaden awareness and participation from stakeholders.
