On 25 December 2023, Mrs. Kanchana Patarachoke, Director-General of the Department of Information and Spokeperson of the Ministry of Forign Affairs, and her team welcomed and discussed with Ms. Aura-Orn Akrasanee, Managing Director of The Nation and the management team, including Mr. Pipoauh Poomkaewkra, Managing Editor, Ms. Patcharee Luenguthai, Advisor to The Nation, Mr. Patpon Sabpaitoon, Program Editor, and Ms. Neeracha Malisak, Editor.

The Nation introduced the new executive team. The Nation aims to cover comprehensive and wider issues and news, especially foreign affairs and wishes to cooperate closely with the Ministry. The Director-General expressed the Department’s readiness to cooperate in tellingThailand’s stories. The Department welcomed the opportunity to work closely with the Nation in shining light on Thailand among foreign audiences both expats in Thailand and international audience.
