On 30 August 2024, Mr. Panidone Pachimsawat, Deputy Director-General, Department of Information, held discussions with Provost's Chair Professor Dr. Lionel Wee, Dean, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences and Associate Professor Dr. Natalie Pang, Head, Department of Communications and New Media, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, National University of Singapore, during his visit to Singapore from 29 August to 1 September 2024 to attend the "Street Arts through the Lens of Thai and ASEAN Artists" project.

During the meeting, Deputy Director- General was informed about Singapore’s experience in public communication in various aspects such as communication with the youth, crisis communication and strategic communication, after which both sides exchanged views on these issues extensively. Given the increased importance of strategic communication, the knowledge on these subjects will be useful for the advancement of the work in this area in the coming years.
