On 30 August 2024, Mr. Panidone Pachimsawat, Deputy Director-General, Department of Information, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, met with Ms. Mridhula Pillay, Deputy Director (Policy) and Ms. Bhavani Nyanajegaran, Deputy Director (Public Communication), Strategic Communications Directorate, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore during the former’s visit to Singapore to attend the project “Street Arts through the Lens of Thai and ASEAN artists” from 29 August - 1 September 2024.

Both sides had a fruitful discussion as they exchanged views on issues of mutual interest namely best practices in communicating foreign policy matters to the public, effective usage of social media, strategic communication and communication during crisis. They also discussed on how to step up cooperation both at the bilateral level namely Civil Service Exchange Programme (CSEP) between Thailand and Singapore and at the regional level namely the establishment of the network of Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs within ASEAN.
