On 23 September 2022 Mr. Thanawat Sirikul, Deputy Director-General, Department of Information, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Mr. David Daly, the Ambassador of the European Union to Thailand and Mr. Sanon Wangsrangboon, Deputy Governor of Bangkok attended the opening ceremony and film screening at the ASEAN-EU Cultural Festival, held at Paragon Cineplex, Siam Paragon. This festival features various kinds of arts, displayed both onsite and online and is held for the first time in Thailand to commemorate the 45th anniversary of ASEAN-EU dialogue relations.
The theme of this year is “Youth Voices” since this year is the year of youth for both ASEAN and EU. All the arts in this festival, whether it be movies, online concerts and arts exhibitions, emphasize on the works of youths who make changes for a better future and on creating a better understanding between the people of ASEAN and EU.
